Anna Joy

For M and E, we were able to quickly decide upon their first and middle names. When we found out we were having a third girl (I was so proud when the sonographer told us. My facial expression is one of K's favorite memories.) it was difficult to decide on a name. I felt that we should choose a biblical name for her, but we struggled to find the right name. K was studying Luke during the fall study at our Church and as we were both reading the Christmas story the name Anna began to have a special meaning for both of us. Due to K's difficult pregnancy we could understand the anticipation Anna felt as she waited to meet our Savior. We chose her middle name because of the joy Anna showed after meeting the Messiah and the joy we felt when she finally arrived.
