Madeline is five months old today. Wow time has flown by. I have a hard time believing that she is almost half a year old. Seems like yesterday she was all wrinkled in her newborn skin and not able to do much of anything. One of my favorite things about her is she smiles all the time. She now eats rice cereal, apples, and sweet potatoes. Tonight we are going to see how acorn squash goes. Maddie is starting to roll over onto her stomach more and starting to try to crawl or scoot or mermaid slide, we are not quite sure, but she sure tries.
She loved Christmas and with every package we put before her she got excited and grabbed for it. We are eager to see how next year will go when she can do even more. I am glad her first Christmas was one with snow, but it is hard because she really cannot enjoy it as much. We took her outside, she just looked at us, and was cold, so we went right back in. She loves all the toys she received and of course every single one has been put in the mouth. Please teeth come in!
