Our first school field trip with our co-op was to the Dallas World Aquarium in September. It is a neat place to see a wide variety of animals. J got to come with us, and we left for Dallas early in the morning. We played at Klyde Warren Park, and went to the Dallas Museum of Art with a dear friend of mine and her little baby. We enjoyed eating from some of the food trucks for lunch. We then made the walk over to the aquarium for our set time.
This manatee was one of our girls favorite animals and he/she was so close to glass.
Baby A looking at all the fish.
Our very large group broke off into families and smaller groups. Here is part of our group looking at the penguins.
We loved looking at the sharks swim over our heads and right up next to the glass.
Some of our other favorites were seeing the sloth hang in a tree right above us, and watching the otters get fed. They swam around really fast.
After our busy morning, we are super proud of our E who hung on till the very end. She was such a trooper. It was a great family day.
