I grew up in northern Indiana, and our neighbor had an apple tree that all the neighbor children were allowed to pick freely. It holds great memories for me. Therefore, we wanted to take the girls apple picking, and a friend of ours actually worked at this farm years ago. They mostly do field trips where each student receives an apple. They only open to the public when they know they have enough crop for their field trips. It is a popular thing to do when they are open to the public, and great fun!
E's first apple picked!
It is nice to have a tall Dad to lift you up to the very high ones.
M liked to choose and pick some on her own too.
So proud of herself.
They didn't like sitting on the porch for a picture. There was too much to see,
like checking out the chicken coop.
Gotta love family outings.
